Kanaris Lazos owns DELANA Interiors. He has been in construction and interior renovation for decades. He needed a new website and a way to actually get found again.
Kanaris is between 65 and 70 years old. He had a business website years ago, but it stopped working, and he was effectively invisible online. He needed a new site, and he wanted to work with someone he could meet in person and trust. He found me through Facebook after seeing a post I had put up.
Our first call scoped a website only. I extracted everything I needed: his business background, his professional journey, his target locations across Metro Vancouver, and the exact service pages he needed — bathroom renovation, kitchen renovation, basement renovation, whole-home renovation, and custom projects. I started the build on WordPress.
The build hit significant plugin friction. I made the call to switch to a modern custom-coded stack rather than keep patching a platform that was fighting me. It took longer on that one project, but it set up the workflow I run on every build since.
